The Office of the Santa Fe County Assessor (OSFCA) has taken great strides in 2015 to achieve our goal of becoming a model office in the state of New Mexico. Being the third largest county in New Mexico (86,000+ parcels), it is important to us to be an innovative leader for other counties in our state. This is evidenced by our efforts to increase customer service, eliminate the telephone answering machine system, revamp the Assessor’s website to become user friendly, create online tools for property owners, create social media pages, create in-house informational videos, advertise benefits and exemptions using different methods of communication, as well as conduct many outreach meetings in various locations around the county.
