The San Bernardino County Museum’s annual ShakeOut event is designed to educate the community on earthquake science and emergency preparedness by partnering with state and local agencies to bring the most up to date information. By reorganizing the event we were able to determine the best date and time to maximize community participation. In addition advanced planning allowed the department to offer a larger event with more activities, performers, and information booths for families to enjoy.
