Oakland County formed G2G Marketplace (https://www.g2gmarket.com/) to provide governments with an easy-to-use, cost-effective way to shop for, purchase, and provision information technology services G2G Marketplace – with “G2G” meaning “government-to-government” – allows registered government users to select different information technology solutions from a variety of vendors. Governments are able to shop for and procure enterprise IT applications and services using pre-negotiated professional services contracts and software license agreements. The streamlined contract process reduces the time and cost required for contract negotiations between government agencies and vendors. The services are offered at discounted prices, providing additional cost savings to governments. G2G Marketplace’s library of best practices documents promotes the sharing of efficient operating procedures, policies, and methods among governments.
