Year: 2014
Three innovative public/private partnerships implemented over the last two years at historic Fort Tuthill County have enabled the Coconino County Parks and Recreation Department to meet the Countyâs goals of transforming Fort Tuthill County Park into a year-round recreation destination. Parks and Recreation now provides a myriad of recreational services including: professional entertainment, treetop adventure course and a unique holiday family experience. These partnerships generate direct revenue that helps address deferred maintenance/capital replacement challenges at Fort Tuthill County Park. Additionally, these partnerships have the potential of generating up to $12 million from the park in economic impact for the greater Flagstaff region.
