Some of the newly developed programs include implementing wellness services that reward participation in healthy lifestyles with premium reductions, providing nationwide access to coverage through their relationship with Blue Shield, opening the Center for Optimal Health for diabetes management to address one of the largest cost drivers of the health plan, paying providers for high performance standards thus, encouraging quality care for patients, opening the Exclusive Care pharmacy which utilizes technology to ensure patient compliance, and utilizing the D2Hawkeye analytic system to better understand patient needs. Combined, these services and innovations provide the best care for County employees while addressing cost, encouraging quality, and engaging patients in healthy lifestyles.
