ePermitsOneStop is a project designed to take an incremental step toward a permitting process in Broward County that is more efficient and expedient. ePermitsOneStop makes it easier for customers to apply for development permits and applications from one location, eliminating the need to travel to multiple governmental agencies and the associated negative environmental impacts. It does this through a co-branded web location that allows permitting customers to easily navigate the existing permitting systems of both Broward County and any participating Broward County municipality. This program has opened-up the communication channels between the County, Cities and customers which has resulted in:•a better understanding of permitting systems by staff, •better support for the customer •a faster more seamless and efficient one-stop permitting experience
