San Diego County Health and Human Services Agencyâs (HHSA) Electronic Personnel Action Form (e-PAF) is a low-cost, innovative approach to increasing the efficiencies of the personnel transaction process in order to increase customer satisfaction while contributing to HHSAâs efforts in âgoing green.â The e-PAF merged three forms previously in use and reduced processing time by at least two days. With its electronic signature component, the e-PAF has eliminated the need to print forms to collect manual signatures, shortened turnaround time for completing the form and increased customer satisfaction by being able to conduct same-day processing. This user-friendly e-PAF has also reduced errors that are generated when conducting complex personnel transactions. Additionally, the e-PAF has significantly reduced costs in printing forms, storage of paper forms, and automated the personnel transaction process saving HHSA time and money.
