Oakland County has demonstrated transformative adaptability and agility in our digital response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The County’s number one requirement was to continue services from its 82 departments to 1.2 million citizens, while expanding community outreach activities. Oakland County’s Digital Coronavirus response has been led by the Executive Office in partnership with the Health Division including Homeland Security and Emergency Operations Center, Information Technology, Economic and Workforce Development, the Board of Commissioners, among others.Key accomplishments include:• Launched COVID-19 website and dashboards at www.oakgov.com/covid with a combined 5.3 Million pageviews over the past year.• Redesigned Workforce Development, Oakland County Michigan Works! (OCMW) website to help connect job seekers and businesses with vital information while reducing the number of service calls. OCMW centers have fielded more than 620,000 inquiries since the beginning of COVID.• Created #OaklandTogether COVID-19 Safety Video & Art PSAs crowdsourcing competition with more than 120 entries, receiving more than 4,890 votes to narrow down to four winners.• Developed separate Vaccine Hub www.oaklandcountyvaccine.com with more than 2.2 million views.• Launched and the ‘Save Your Spot’ online form for vaccine appointment registrations and at its height had 600,000 names on the list.• Implemented COVID-19 Vaccination weekly Newsletter, including video message to more than 114,980 email and text subscribers.
