About the Program

CATEGORY: Civic Education and Public Information
YEAR: 2022
In a time where uncertainty and ever-changing information is common, the COVID-19 Call Center provides the residents of San Bernardino County with a reliable resource for questions and resources related to COVID-19. The nature of calls received includes: inquiries on how to make a testing or vaccination appointment, appointment registration assistance, test results, clarification on recently changed guidance, vaccine card replacements and other resources. The Call Center core staff maintains regular communication across all areas of the COVID-19 Response to ensure that accuracy and consistency in messaging is provided to the public. The COVID Call Center successfully assists callers by providing accurate answers, appointment services, or conducts research to direct them to the best resource that fits their need. It has been in operation since March 2020 and will continue as the need remains.
