Through a collaboration of County Health Department employees and local experts on Autism Spectrum Disorder, the Consumer’s Guide to Quality Home Programming was developed to help families and service some indicators of quality home programs for young children with autism spectrum disorders. This guide will also help families identify supports and services that best suit their needs and those of their children, regardless of the specific educational methodologies used. The guide will be used to identify practices that will result in the highest quality home services for children with autism spectrum disorders and their families as well.
