The Clinton Mifflin Land Use Plan is a guide for future development in Clinton and Mifflin Townships, located in Franklin County, Ohio. The plan is a comprehensive public policy document intended to revitalize neighborhoods, promote active transportation and facilitate economic development and job growth in the communities of Clinton Township and Mifflin Township. The plan includes recommendations for the community’s future on a range of topics such as housing, neighborhood revitalization, environmental projection, economic development and active transportation. Along with recommendations for the future, the plan lays out a series of action steps to ensure the plan is implemented. The Clinton-Mifflin Land Use plan was developed with extensive input from community members, business owners, township leaders and county officials. The plan outlines a comprehensive vision for the community’s future and gives the communities the tools to achieve it. Since the Clinton-Mifflin Land Use plan was adopted by the Franklin County Board of Commissioners in January 2009, Franklin County and both Clinton and Mifflin Townships have been hard at work implementing the plan, showing measurable results after only one year.
