Ask, Seek, Knock (ASK) Family Resource Centers were developed in partnership with a number of community leadership institutions and the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) to provide comprehensive Family Resource Centers for SPA 6 families in need of supportive services. This is a good preventive program for those families who might just be on the edge of needing an intervention from child protective services. Referrals are not limited to government agencies, but can also be made schools, and churches and it also includes walk-ins. This program increases community quality of life and provides assurances for at-risk individuals.
