Counties across the nation are required by their state government to produce annual reports and strategic plans for the future. Jefferson County of Colorado went beyond the expectations of the state and created a film version of their annual report. A video annual report for the four divisions of Jefferson County Parks was produced to escape from the typical graphs, charts and narrative associated with reports. The video essentially told the story of the Department successes over the last year. Using in-house resources, creating a video instead of a paper report for the county is an innovative and inexpensive way to report to the state.
