Guillermo Mazier, MBA serves as the SVP of global business for FDI Intelligence, a specialized business unit of the Financial Times and the world's fastest-growing economic development consulting and business intelligence firm, headquartered in the UK. With over 17 years of experience, his practice specializes in helping locations and corporate executives analyze, evaluate and attract corporate investment through a suite of market intelligence, consulting, and technology solutions, including:

Since 2009 Mr. Mazier and his colleagues have helped facilitate over $50 billion of greenfield investment globally, most recently helping facilitate Honda's 700 million dollar investment in Ohio to create a new electric vehicle hub. Prior to his work at FDI Intelligence Mr. Mazier served as the President of Wavteq which was recently acquired by the Financial Times and as the Vice President of Global Innovation for Conway Data Inc, leading innovation approaches designed to solve cross-border investment challenges for government agencies. From Paris to Portland, Dubai to Denver, and many places in between, Mr. Mazier has helped thousands of municipal and private sector leaders unlock economic development competitiveness strategies and tools to facilitate cross-border investment and economic growth.

He is the author of various economic development articles related to the attraction and future of corporate investment and has spoken extensively on these subjects throughout his career, most recently at the 2022 World Forum for Foreign Direct Investment in Edinburgh Scotland. Mr. Mazier has served as an advisor and instructor for the Community Economics Laboratory, The University of Waterloo Economic Development Institute, and the Formula Europa Economic Institute to name a few. Regardless of the location, he loves working with ambitious community leaders and organizations who want to define their position in the global economy, rather than be defined by it. Mr. Mazier holds a BA and MBA in International Business and Economics from Regis University in Denver, CO.
