Roy Spence is the co-founder and CEO of The Purpose Institute, a consulting firm that helps people and organizations discover and live their purpose. The Purpose Institute believes that organizations with a purpose are motivated by making a positive difference in the lives of the people they serve, and The Promiseland Project was founded to make good on America’s promise: that all Americans who work hard and take responsibility get the opportunity to develop and live up to their potential.

Spence is also the co-founder and Chairman of GSD&M, a leading marketing, communications and advertising firm that created some of the world’s most recognizable brands, including “Don’t Mess with Texas,” Southwest Airlines, Walmart,  DreamWorks, BMW, the U.S. Air Force, L.L.Bean and the Clinton Foundation.
