About Navis Bermudez

The Office of Water works to ensure that drinking water is safe, wastewater is safely returned to the environment, and surface waters are properly managed and protected. Prior to joining EPA, Navis served as Professional Staff for the U.S. Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, Subcommittee on Water Resources and Environment; Federal Legislative Director for the Southern Environmental Law Center; and Senior Federal Policy Analyst in the State of New York Governor’s DC Office. A native New Orleanian, Navis holds a B.S. in Environmental Studies and a minor in Biology from The George Washington University, and a Master of Environmental Science from Yale School of the Environment.
