Mike Bailey, CPA

Mike Bailey has been a local government finance leader since 1980. A former member of the GFOA board of directors and a national trainer and consultant for the GFOA, Mike also won the GFOA Award for Excellence in Strategic Planning and Performance Management at Northshore School District in Washington. Since his official retirement in 2018, Mike has served as a consultant and interim finance director in several cities and leads council/policy board retreats in developing strategic plans, long-term financial strategies, and related efforts. Mike holds an MBA with an emphasis in Public Policy from the University of Puget Sound and is a Certified Public Accountant.
