Melinda Dade

Melinda Dade, CISSP, CISM, is Chief Information Security Officer at Texas Education Agency and is passionate about exciting the next generation to explore careers in Cybersecurity. Previously, she led TEA’s data security and event analysis program, as well as security operations and incident response. Ms. Dade began her career as a Digital Forensics Engineer for the Central Intelligence Agency, where she specialized in counterintelligence risk assessments of clandestine communication systems. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and is an alumni of the National Science Foundation CyberCorps: Scholarship for Service program.
