Mary-Sara Jones

Mary-Sara Jones is a Business Development Executive supporting US Health & Human Services. She provides strategic direction to government organizations developing and delivering approaches to improve service delivery and optimize outcomes. Mary-Sara began her career in the healthcare industry focused on Clinical and Business Transformation, Electronic Medical Records, and Interoperability. In 2008, she transitioned from Healthcare to Social Services working with the Social Security Administration to expand Interoperability and integrate electronic medical records into SSA’s business processes. Since then, Mary-Sara focused on interoperability as a key enabler for delivering services and improving outcomes to vulnerable populations. Mary-Sara brings more than 20 years experience in Health and Human Services, transforming service through the use of technology and providing direction to navigate policy and business challenges. Working with agencies across the US, and globally, she has assisted agencies work beyond the boundaries of their organizations to provide a more holistic, person-centered approach to care. Today, Mary-Sara focuses on leveraging integrated data and cross program collaboration to expand preventive approaches and address social determinants.

Project experience includes:
• California - County of San Diego’s integrated information portal supporting cross program data sharing and collaboration;
• New York - Medicaid Health Homes’ Medicaid Analytics and Performance Portal to share information and better manage complex Medicaid clients;
• Singapore, a Coordinated Care solution to support cross program service delivery and continuity of care for complex patients;
• Alberta, a Common Service Delivery Approach integrating services across four ministries
