About Marcia Argust

Marcia Argust directs Pew’s U.S. Public Lands and Rivers Conservation Program, which aims to protect natural areas for future generations by conserving public lands and rivers that are ecologically important as habitat for animals and fish. Ms. Argust was previously a project director with Pew's efforts to restore America's parks, a project director with Pew’s U.S. Public Lands Program and senior legislative representative for the Campaign for America’s Wilderness. Before joining Pew, Ms. Argust held government affairs positions with the American Society of Landscape Architects and the National Parks Conservation Association and worked on Capitol Hill.
