About Larry Benson
Larry Benson develops partnerships for the tax and revenue and motor vehicle verticles and focuses on embedded companies needing third-party analytics and how government programs are defrauded by organized criminal groups and how to prevent it. Mr. Benson has over 30 years of experience in sales and business development. Before joining LexisNexis Risk Solutions, he spent 12 years founding and managing two software technology startups, one focusing on the network management verticle and the second in the data collection and analytics vertical. He also spent 10 years as a regional director, growing a New England-based technology company from 300 to 7,000 exmployees. He began his career working for Martin Marietta on laser-guided weapons and day/night vision systems.
Mr. Benson is the author of Fraud of the Day, a website that educates government officials about how criminals defraud government programs and co-authored "WTF? Where's the Fraud? How to Unmask and Stop Identity Fraud's Drain on Our Government" and "Data Personified: How Fraud is Changing the Meaning of Identity." He holds a bachelor of science in physics from Albright College and a master of business administration from Florida Institute of Technology and a master of science in engineering from Lehigh University.
