Hon. Johnnie Carswell

Hon. Johnnie Carswell serves as a Commissioner on the Burke County Board of Commissioners and also serves as 1st Vice President of the North Carolina County Association of County Commissioners. Commissioner Carswell's vision is to remain focused on planning, forecasting, setting objectives and making investments that will enhance the long-range vision of economic prosperity and a superior quality of life for all citizens of North Carolina. He also serves on numerous state and local committees, including an appointment as a County Commissioner Representative to the 5-5-5 Committee of the Opioid Settlement Group
