Hon. John Wilson

King County Assessor John Wilson, elected in 2015, has earned the praise of people both inside and outside King County as one of the most innovative, forward thinking managers in local government. Wilson led a team that developed a best-in-class mobile iPad application for field data collection and spearheaded launching an online property tax appeals platform. During his tenure at the Department of Assessments, Wilson served on a national task force of the US Census Bureau on property data collection and addressing, functions vital to both Assessors across the nation and the Census Bureau.
