Hon. Carolyn Rice

Commissioner Carolyn Rice is a first-term Montgomery County Commissioner and 2022 Commission President. She previously served as the County Treasurer for 11 years. Besides land banking and economic development, she focuses on early childhood development, youth workforce development, and addiction/prevention/mental health as well as the environment and sustainability. Through her participation in Leadership Ohio and in response to the Covid pandemic, she advocates for youth mental wellness and resiliency particularly for marginalized groups.
