About Gabrielle Enfield

Gabrielle Enfield is the Washoe County Grants Administrator, serving at the county since 2001, with six years as the Community Support Administrator working closely with community-based human service organizations addressing homelessness. During her career she has designed, written and implemented grants for facility construction, planning, emergency equipment, housing, social services, and a public art project. With over twenty-five years of experience with grant-funded projects, the heart of her expertise is developing successful grant proposals with a clear understanding of effective implementation to ensure outcome objectives. An avid innovator, she is dedicated to maximizing the investment of grant funds to improve communities, with an unrefuted belief in the power of collaboration. She holds a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Idaho, and is a Certified Grants Management Specialist and a Grant Professional Certified.  In 2006, she was recognized by the Human Services Network as the Staff Member of the Year and in 2018, she earned an Achievement Award for the Washoe Leadership Program. Additionally, Gabrielle brings her passion for outdoor experiences to her work on the anticipated Washoe ArTrail placemaking project. In her free time, Gabrielle enjoys hiking, biking, exploring recreational areas and National Parks
