Dr. Flavio Villanustre is a RELX Distinguished Technologist. In his current role, Dr. Villanustre is the vice president of technology and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for LexisNexis® Risk Solutions, leading information security and cybersecurity for the organization. Dr. Villanustre leads the open source HPCC Systems® Big Data platform community initiative. His expertise covers a broad range of subjects, including cybersecurity, systems and software engineering, and data analytics and machine learning, and he speaks frequently on these topics. Prior to his technology career, Dr. Villanustre was a neurosurgeon.
