About David Dunning
David Dunning is the Advanced Air Mobility Program Manager for the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Integration Office, Safety & Integration Division’s Implementation Branch. The Implementation Branch serves as a liaison and facilitator for the development of a unified FAA strategy and plan for integrating Advanced Air Mobility into the National Airspace System (NAS). Prior to joining the FAA, Mr. Dunning led aviation operations at an air medical service provider in Honolulu, Hawaii, alongside owning and operating an FAA certified aircraft repair station. Mr. Dunning is a United States Air Force veteran and maintains his FAA Inspector Authorization.
