Candice Britt Rountree

Candice Rountree is the Grants/Community Engagement Program Manager with Wilson County Department of Social Services. Candice holds a Master’s of Social Work degree from East Carolina University. She has twenty-seven years of experience in the human services field as a social worker, social work supervisor, policy consultant, Child and Family Services Review Coordinator and a Program Manager. Areas of focus include child welfare, employment programming, housing and developing trauma-informed communities. Candice is the Co-Chair of the Wilson County Substance Prevention Coalition and serves as Chair of the Wilson County Community Child Protection Team. Candice also leads Wilson County’s Opioid Multidisciplinary Team.
