About Betsy Keller
Betsy Keller has been the County of El Paso's Chief Administrator since April 2016 and is the first woman to serve in this role. Prior to that she served as the interim Chief Administrator and the Assistant Administrator for 1 year and as the County's HR Director for 7 years. She worked for the City of Alamogordo for over 11 years before joining El Paso County. Ms. Keller holds a Bachelor of Science degree in both Business Management and Human Resource Management from Park University where she graduated with honors. She is a Credentialed Manager through the International City/County Managers Association and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and as a Senior Certified Professional. She oversees 18 non-elected departments and manages daily operations, including the County's $600 M budget and 3,000 employees.
