Chief of Staff, ARC
In his role as chief of staff to the Federal Co-Chair of the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC), Andrew is responsible for overseeing and developing strategies, initiatives, and activities that advance the Federal Co-Chair's priorities, to include addressing the drug crisis in Appalachia. Andrew most recently served as Vice President of Federal Affairs at the Addiction Policy Forum where he worked with impacted family members across the nation to advocate for a comprehensive response to the nation's epidemic. As Director of Federal Affairs at the Justice Action Network, Andrew worked to improve policies to reduce recidivism and help individuals in the criminal justice system successfully re-enter society. In addition, he served as Legislative Aide to U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell (KY) where, among other issues, he collaborated with Kentucky law enforcement to support their efforts to combat drug trafficking in the Commonwealth.
