Alfonso Guida Jr., J.D.

Alfonso Guida, Jr. serves as the president of Guide Consulting Services, Inc. Before starting his government relations consulting business in 2002, Mr. Guida served as executive director of the National Mental Health Awareness Campaign (NMHAC). Prior to his tenure with NMHAC, Mr. Guida served as senior vice president for government relations and public policy at the National Mental Health Association (NMHA) where he coordinated state and federal government affairs and helped start NMHA's State Health Care Reform Department. During his seven year tenure at NMHA, Mr. Guida fought for mental health parity legislative, Medicaid expansions, the inclusion of mental health care services in the State Children's Health Insurance Program and additional federal funding for the Children's Mental Health Services Program.
