National Membership Call: Local Preemptions in Broadband Permitting Bills

This webinar is available on-demand. If you have issues accessing the recording, please email nacomeetings@naco.org.
Join NACo staff for an overview of H.R. 3557, a bill which would enact newly expanded preemptory measures in local land use and zoning authorities pertaining to the streamlined deployment of telecommunications infrastructure. NACo strongly supports the central role that counties play in the deployment of broadband services, and NACo urges Congress to preserve local decision-making authorities in the hands of local governments who universally desire high-speed internet access for their residents. This webinar will include a presentation and analysis of H.R. 3557 as well as provide the opportunity to ask NACo staff questions.
