NACo Board of Directors approves 2020 Interim Policy Resolutions

2020 Interim Policy Resolutions

On March 2, the NACo Board of Directors approved 36 interim policy resolutions at NACo’s Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. These interim policy resolutions will supplement existing NACo policy until NACo’s 2020 Annual Conference, at which point all policy resolutions expire and must be renewed. NACo’s 2020 Annual Conference will be held July 17-20 in Orange County/Orlando, Fla.

The NACo resolutions process provides members with the ability to participate in national policy decisions affecting county governments. During the Legislative Conference, NACo’s ten policy steering committees and Board of Directors considered interim policy resolutions on issues that were not addressed at the 2019 Annual Conference.

NACo members are encouraged to get involved by joining one of NACo’s policy steering committees. For more information about getting involved, please click here or contact Brett Mattson at bmattson@naco.org. For a comprehensive overview of NACo’s policy process, click here.
