Through the Affordable Care Act, most homeless individuals are eligible for Medicaid because of their low incomes.  In this report, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services details the various health services that Medicaid may support for individuals in supportive housing and examples of how the benefit works in states and local communities across the country.
