Yet the industry remains largely cash-only, leading to many public safety concerns for counties in these states. The Secure and Fair Enforcement (SAFE) Banking Act being considered by Congress would provide access to vital banking services such as checking accounts and loans for cannabis-related legitimate businesses. Hear from Capitol Hill, industry and county experts on the potential impacts of the SAFE Banking Act for counties.
