Rapid Response is a service offered through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) to ensure workers who are laid off get access to workforce services to connect them quickly to new employment. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for these services skyrocketed. To meet the need, we implemented a weekly, virtual Rapid Response Workshop available to anyone who had been laid off or was out of work due to mandated closures.
