The TRC Access System provides the DSWM with a tool for validating and granting access to their trash and recycling facilities to the Miami Dade County citizens that maintain a waste collection service account with the department. The new modernized version of this application replaced an obsolete technology allowing an increase in system reliability and minimizing service downtime. This in-house development has greatly facilitated the system’s maintenance tasks as well as permitted multiple application enhancements keeping up with the constantly evolving business needs of the Department of Solid Waste Management.
