The Teen Artists Academy is an intensive arts program for serious students in visual arts, music (instrumental and voice), dance, creative writing, theatre, film production, design and more. Participants receive concentrated instruction and training in the discipline of their choice from professional artists through lectures, master classes, and exposure to art experiences. Participants also work on a collective production and art exhibition that is presented to the community at the end of the program. The Teen Artists Academy is held at different Fulton County community arts centers. Under the guidance of professional artists participants will receive intensive instruction and draw inspiration from current events and social issues, to create an original production. Teen Artists Academy students use their life experiences and raw emotion to create and develop original works of visual art, literary art, dramatic performances, choreography and original music compositions. The teen’s interdisciplinary creations are combined to create a culminating theatrical production, gallery exhibition and film.
