The County of San Diego’s employees are one of its greatest resources. The Department of Human Resources’ (DHR) Employee Development Division seeks to provide innovative training solutions to align to the County’s goal to develop, maintain and attract a skilled, adaptable and diverse workforce by providing opportunities for our employees to feel valued, engaged and trusted. Spotlight on Speaking is a two-hour social learning opportunity for County employees to learn quick tips to enhance their public speaking and presentation skills, and receive real time feedback on their presentation, speaking points and presence. The course is designed to increase self-confidence, help employees become comfortable with public speaking and allow them to effectively communicate their message.
