Developed by Rockdale County Tax Commissioner Tisa Smart-Washington, in collaboration with the Rockdale County Board of Commissioners and the Rockdale County Tax Assessor’s Office, SET! SET! COLLECT! educates the public on how property taxes are calculated and collected. The goal of this campaign is to ensure citizens understand the taxation process – the Tax Assessor SETs the value; the Board of Commissioners SETs the millage rate and the Tax Commissioner COLLECTs the taxes.
