The Senior Wii Tournament is a partnership program developed by their Sport and Senior’s staff who brainstormed an idea to introduce a new sport to some classic participants. The single elimination tournament began in May 2008 and complete with a County Championship in June 2008. The Championship was held in the former Round House Theatre in Silver Spring, Maryland. Breakfast was provided, and the participants had time to relax and socialize before the games began. Prince George’s County Parks and Recreation Department brought over a van full of participants and supporters as well.
