Robinson’s Rescue is a low-cost spay/neuter clinic serving Northwest Louisiana which works to reduce dog and cat overpopulation and euthanasia in our region. Robinson’s Rescue is the only high- quality, high-volume, low-cost spay/neuter clinic in our region and to date we have performed over 27,000 spay or neuter surgeries. Our spay/neuter procedure, methods and best practices are based on the PetSmart Charities supported Humane Alliance model. Robinson’s Rescue provides free spay/neuter surgery and rabies shots to the citizens of Caddo Parish who qualify for our Subsidized Spay Neuter Incentive Program or “SSNIP”. Caddo Parish residents who meet our low income requirements, are eligible for subsidized spay/neuter services and rabies vaccinations paid for with Caddo Parish funds. Without subsidy programs for indigent pet owners, more of the pets they keep will remain intact and more will be relinquished to our local shelters. With the assistance of Caddo Parish funding, Robinson’s Rescue implemented an extensive out-reach program to educate our citizens on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. This program has become extremely successful in encouraging these citizens to utilize our parish funding to help them afford to spay and neuter their pets. We save lives through prevention.
