The Report a Violation Application (RAV) is a web-based application for constituents to report suspected property code violations. RAV uses Geographic Information System (GIS) data to determine whether the property with the suspected violations is within the Los Angeles County Public Works Department’s jurisdiction. In calendar year 2010 alone, over 350 suspected code violation addresses were reported through the use of this application.
