QMS is a process flow management application that records each step (in/out time) of the arrestee’s booking process as an initiative to improve efficiency at the County’s booking facility. There could be several different processes associated with booking an arrestee including a Pre-Medical Screening, Jail Number Assignment, Mugshot & Pat Down, Fingerprint Capture, Personal Property Collection, Medical Screening, etc. The system features individual queues for each intake station, web service to retrieve inmate arrest information from the new Automated Arrest Form application, web service to retrieve Mugshot information from the Criminal Justice System mainframe database, queue processing screens with active queue updates, queue summary screens with active status updates, real-time law enforcement officer wait time calculations, Active Directory and built in application role-based security, user configurable parameters and email notification of application alerts and errors. The application was developed in .NET and SQL Server 2008. Reports were developed using Cognos 10 Reports Studio.
