Project Budget Program is a computer application based on the familiar Microsoft Excel and provides a sophisticated tool to the capital project managers for accurate and comprehensive project budget planning. This program unifies the process throughout the organization and incorporates risk analysis and “what if scenarios” tools that saves countless hours and in most cases provides tools that are impossible to perform manually. This program also provides with analytical charts and tables that assists the capital managers in understanding the project and be able to compare it with historical data. The Project Budget Program is designed to follow a natural and familiar path from basic data entry all the way to an automated generation of the Project Description Form (PDF) that is used for approval of the budget by the County Executive and County Council. This program has been successfully used for several years and has resulted in more successful project management.
