To address the safety needs of our community – especially the risk of drowning – Gwinnett County Parks and Recreation teamed up with our Fire and Emergency Services department and others to train our own staff and to offer various aquatics and safety education programs to the public. Our objective is to reduce drowning by promoting water safety education and awareness through programs and events.
