The County of San Bernardino County Library celebrates three New Book Festival at it's largest branches. The branches the County Library celebrates the New Book Festival are: Chino Hills, Hesperia, and Fontana. The investment in new books for each library's New Book Festival is $100,000. The first New Book Festival took place in Chino Hills in September 2015. At the time all the books that ordered for this event stayed at the library's the festival took place. Since the budget for collection development remains the same every year, the County of San Bernardino created a redistribution solution of the new books, for all branches in the county could enjoy.
