“Live Life Healthy After Age 60” seminar was an interactive workshop created through a collaborative effort of local hospitals, health organizations, and senior centers to provide information on healthy aging and viewing aging positively. As the population lives longer, seniors must be educated in keeping a positive outlook on life and fight the prejudices against the elderly in a society that worships youth. This conference inspired seniors to take ownership of their health and change views about aging. It provided information and interactive demonstrations to 350 attendees as well as the viewing audience of the local cable channel.
