Year: 2016

The Little Gymsters program was created to give children with disabilities the opportunity to run, jump, flip, and tumble while increasing their gross motor skills, balance, and social skills in a fast paced, fun environment! The program was developed in order to fill a gap in programming for pre-school aged children with special needs. The program was marketed to pre-k and youth aged 4-10, with various disabilities. The majority of the Little Gymsters participants have diagnoses of Autism and Down syndrome. By partnering with My Gym (a children’s fitness center), the children are able to develop healthy minds and strong bodies under the guidance of trained and loving instructors in a safe, clean and noncompetitive environment.
