The International Festival is a community-based event designed to bring county residents of all nationalities together for an opportunity to celebrate, gain exposure to and learn about various cultures. The event was created to fill a void in multicultural recreation programming in the county. The one-day festival combines international foods, demonstrations, performances, exhibits and fun to create an enriching experience. The event has experienced an overwhelming amount of community support and participation during its two years, with attendance more than doubling between 2015 and 2016.
